Alpha

Alpha is the place to explore the meaning of life. What is it all about? Come and join a 10 week Alpha program and bring your questions. Each week you will gather with a group of people to have an excellent meal and listen to a short talk about some aspect of the Christian faith. Following the talk, the group will have tea and coffee and a delicious dessert and a time to discuss the topic for the night.

Whether you are well settled in the faith or just exploring what it means to be a follower of Jesus, Alpha is a great next step along the journey of life.

Missions

The Church is called to be both set apart from the world and sent into the world. The church is to be both worshipful and missional in its orientation. It is our dual function to be a Great Commandment church and a Great Commission church.

To this end we long to be a light in our community and beyond. Much of what we do at Mount Zion aims to be both disciple building and disciple sending. But not everyone can “go” beyond the boundaries of home, so as a church we have made mission friendships, helping in shouldering the responsibility of prayer support and financial support. All of our mission friendships have developed through connections made by the Mount Zion family. Each mission is highlighted for one month per year (Ty Cariad, two times per year) for prayer and financial support.

We Support:

  • Ty Cariad – Uganda
  • Fulani Ministries – Burkina Faso
  • Peru Mission
  • Gideons (Cardigan Chapter)
  • Blythswood (includes Christmas Shoeboxes)
  • Teifi Pastors – Cardigan
  • BMS Uganda
