Bible Reading Plans for 2025
If you want to read more of the whole Bible in 2025 there are a number of ways to do that listed here where reading plans and apps are described.
Prayer and Bible Study
“Don’t fret or worry. Instead of worrying, pray. Let petitions and praises shape your worries into prayers, letting God know your concerns. Before you know it, a sense of God’s wholeness, everything coming together for good, will come and settle you down. It’s wonderful what happens when Christ displaces worry at the center of your life.” (Philippians 4:6-7, The Message translation)
Each Tuesday (except the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays of each month when we meet as House Groups), we gather at the church at 7:30pm for a time of in-depth study of the Word of God and a time of prayer. We begin by warming up our voices (and our hearts) with a few songs of praise, followed by practical Bible teaching that encourages us to live what we are learning. After we have looked at Scripture we pray for the needs of our church, our town, our country, and beyond.
We welcome you to come and join us. You won’t be put on the spot to pray or answer a question, but rather, we believe God will speak to you in a way that enriches your walk with Him.
House Groups
How do you get to know others at Mount Zion Church? Our twice monthly House Group gatherings are the perfect environment to get to know people. Each group takes on the unique character of the people who attend, but all are friendly and welcoming. A typical evening (if there is such a thing) will include a time to relax and talk and eat and drink, either before or after a time of teaching and discussion of the Word.
House Groups meet at 7:30pm on the first and third Tuesday of each month in Cardigan and surrounding areas. Check the listing on this page or in the church diary for the group nearest you, and phone the contact name listed to confirm the meeting location and for directions. Phone numbers can be found in the Members Area.
